Member of the European Film Academy (EFA) and current General Director of the Sitges Foundation – Catalonia International Fantastic Film Festival, she combines cultural management with teaching and writing. She has been co-director of the Master's in Fantastic Cinema at UOC and is currently developing a doctoral thesis on film festivals and film marketing, focused on analyzing the role of these events in the international circulation of works.
Author of more than a dozen popular titles, she has consolidated a career linked to criticism and the dissemination of audiovisual culture. Her specialization focuses on international audiovisual promotion and festival evaluation, fields in which she has contributed experience and strategic vision. At the Sitges Festival, in addition to directing the Foundation, she assumes responsibility for the industry program Sitges FanLab and coordinates international initiatives such as Sitges Cocoon and WomanInFan, the latter dedicated to the visibility and incorporation of women creators in the field of fantastic cinema. Her work combines cultural management, research, and commitment to innovation, reinforcing the festival's role as an international reference platform.
En el Festival de Sitges, además de dirigir la Fundación, asume la responsabilidad del programa de industria Sitges FanLab y coordina iniciativas internacionales como Sitges Cocoon y WomanInFan, este último dedicado a la visibilidad y la incorporación de mujeres creadoras en el ámbito del cine fantástico. Su trabajo combina gestión cultural, investigación y compromiso con la innovación, reforzando el papel del festival como plataforma internacional de referencia.
