Benedetta Tagliabue

Benedetta Tagliabue, Italian architect (Milan, 1963), directs Benedetta Tagliabue – EMBT Architects in Barcelona, founded in 1994 with Enric Miralles, notable for projects such as the Scottish Parliament (RIBA Stirling 2005) and the Spanish Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo 2010, which integrate culture and sustainability. A graduate in Architecture from IUAV Venice, she is a Pritzker Prize juror, professor at Harvard and Yale, and founder of the Enric Miralles Foundation. Awarded the Saint George's Cross 2019 and the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture 2023.
