Elvira Dyagani

Elvira Dyangani Ose (Córdoba, 1974), of Equatorial Guinean origin, is a distinguished curator and cultural manager. With a degree in Art History, she has worked at institutions such as the Atlantic Center of Modern Art and Tate Modern (2011-2014), where she promoted postcolonial narratives. She directed The Showroom in London (2018-2021) and curated biennials in Africa and Gothenburg. Since 2021, as the first director of MACBA, she has enriched its collection with 285 works and leads its architectural transformation, consolidating the museum as an inclusive and global space for contemporary art.
