Juan C. Bonet (Mexico City, 1968) is a public servant, poet, (former) actor, and producer. He holds a degree in Public Management and Administration and is pursuing a master's in International Relations. He served from 2020 to 2024 as General Director of the Support System for Creation and Cultural Projects (formerly Fonca) of Mexico's Ministry of Culture. Prior to that, he was Director of Cultural Development at the Institute for Mexicans Abroad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in charge of rescuing the theatrical infrastructure of the Mexican Social Security Institute, General Director of Culture for the Miguel Hidalgo borough of Mexico City, and Director of the Foro Chapultepec Cultural Center of the Bank of Mexico, among other public positions. As a cultural manager, he has been director and founder of the theatrical company "El Retablo Rojo" and the collective "Unión Cultural Sinaia."
