Law graduate, he joined the diplomatic career in 2007. He has been posted at Spanish Diplomatic Representations in Oslo, Islamabad, and Tokyo.
Before joining the Directorate of Cultural and Scientific Relations at AECID in September 2022, he served as Advisory Councilor in the Cabinet of the Secretary of State for International Cooperation for Ibero-America and as Director of Programming, Communication and Institutional Relations at Spanish Cultural Action (AC/E).
He has also served as Deputy Consul in charge of Cultural Affairs at the Consulate General in New York. He has been decorated with the Cross of Officer of the Order of Isabella the Catholic; the Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic; the Officer decoration of the Order of Civil Merit; Commander of the Order of Sikatuna of the Republic of the Philippines; and Grand Officer Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. First Class Commendation of the Order of Dannebrog of the Kingdom of Denmark.
