He was the executive coordinator of UNESCO's World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development, Mondiacult 2022, General Director of International Affairs at the Ministry of Culture, and General Director of Promotion and Festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is the author of the essay La f\u00e1brica del lenguaje S.A. (Anagrama 2011); the novels Clipperton (Random House 2015) and Armadura para un hombre solo (Almad\u00eda 2012); and the short story collections Las jaulas (Random House 2010) and Agenda del suicidio (Tumbona 2005, 2011), which won the Gilberto Owen National Literature Prize in Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a cultural manager, he directed the Cultural Center El Octavo d\u00eda (1999), and as a diplomat, he has served as cultural attach\u00e9 in Portugal and director of the Cultural Institute of Mexico in Spain, where he was in charge of creating Casa de M\u00e9xico en Espa\u00f1a (2018).
